Client brief;
To create a natural water feature, which needed to be achieved working with the existing gradient of the land.
The client required a low maintenance garden surrounding the water and wanted to attract birds and other wildlife.
Two ponds were created and lined using Bentonite to seal the water in. Small to medium sized stone was sourced locally and placed so as to look natural and 'in keeping' with the environment.
A small cascade was formed, which is effective when it has rained and ensures water flows from the upper to the lower pond, refreshing and replenishing the water.
